New Child’s Play Trailer Shows Chucky in Action

Orion has released a new trailer for the upcoming Child’s Play reboot, about a murderous smart doll called a Buddi. The film stars Aubrey Plaza, Gabriel Bateman, Brian Tyree Henry, and Mark Hamill as the voice of Chucky himself. Child’s Play opens in theaters on June 21st.

DC Universe Previews Swamp Thing’s Arrival

DC Universe has released a new teaser for its upcoming Swamp Thing series. The brief teaser doesn’t feature much actual footage from the show, but it does give fans their first look at the monster himself. Swamp Thing’s first ten-episode season premieres exclusively on DC Universe on May 31st.

The Boys on Amazon Shows Dark Side of Superheroing

Prime Video has released a new teaser trailer for The Boys, a new series based on the comics of the same name. The not-safe-for-work footage features a much darker side of the superhero genre, as heroes abuse their celebrity status and must be kept in check. The first 8-episode season of The Boys premieres on Amazon Prime on July 26th.

Disney Cancels Mouse Guard Movie

According to Deadline, Disney has cancelled production on the Mouse Guard movie from Fox. The motion capture film, based on the comic series of the same name, was set to star Idris Elba, Andy Serkis, and Sonoya Mizuno. Filmmakers are currently hoping to shop the film to other studios, including Netflix.
