New Photos from The Witcher

Netflix released a series of new images from their upcoming fantasy series, The Witcher. The photos show how showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich used practical effects as frequently as possible, and shows the claws of a beast, a mysterious tavern, and the Geralt riding through the woods. While no official release date has been announced, Netflix will release The Witcher some time soon in 2019.

Teaser Trailer for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045

Netflix released a teaser trailer for their upcoming animated series Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045. The story takes place in the year 2045, after global capitalism has defaulted, when Japan’s elite Section 9 begins conducting covert cyber operations. Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045 will premiere on Netflix in 2020.

 HBO Max Orders 4 Adventure Time Specials

HBO has ordered four one-hour long Adventure Time specials from Cartoon Network. Each episode will focus on just a few of the main characters, with one episode focusing on BMO going to Space, Marceline and Princess Bubblegum as they go to the Glass Kingdom, Peppermint Butler, as he goes to Wizard School, and Finn and Jake, as they come together again and find their brotherly bond. There is no further news about HBO Max’s Adventure Time specials at this time.

Jen D’Angelo to Write Hocus Pocus 2

Disney+ has brought on writer Jen D’Angelo to write the script for Hocus Pocus 2. D’Angelo wrote and co-produced the show Workaholics, and sources say that she plans to bring back the original cast from the movie, though none of them are attached at this point. There is no further news about Hocus Pocus 2 at this time.
