Catwoman: Hunted

According to THR, Catwoman is set to star in a new animated film called Catwoman: Hunted.  The anime style film will follow Catwoman as a heist gone wrong puts her in the crosshairs of a variety of heroes and villains alike. Among the casting, it’s been confirmed that Elizabeth Gillies will voice Selina Kyle and Stephanie Beatriz will voice Batwoman, Jonathan Banks will voice Black Mask, and Steve Blum will voice Solomon Grundy. Catwoman: Hunted will premiere in early 2022.

Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake

HBO Max ordered a new Adventure Time series that focuses on Fionna and Cake, gender-swapped versions of Finn and Jake. The series will see them team with Simon Petrikov to “embark on a multiverse-hopping adventure and journey of self-discovery. All the while, a powerful new antagonist determined to track them down and erase them from existence lurks in the shadows.” There is no release date for Adventure Time: Fionna and Cake at this time.

Halo Series Update

In an interview with IGN, the executive producer of Paramount+’s Halo series, Kiki Wolfkill, shared a bit about the series. She said, “The biggest challenge with adapting the game is, the game is designed to put you into [Master] Chief’s armor. What we’re asking people to do with the show is to sit back and say we’re going to present a side of Chief that you just don’t get to play in the game.” The Halo series is set to premiere on Paramount+ in 2022.

The Toxic Avenger Wraps

Legendary Entertainment has wrapped filming on their upcoming reboot of The Toxic Avenger. Director Macon Blair shared a post with the caption reading, “That’s a wrap. Blagodarya, Bulgaria.” The Toxic Avenger has no release date at this time.
