Jennifer Beals confirmed that she is joining the Star Wars™ universe. She will be playing a Twi’lek™, one that was first seen in the recent trailer for The Book of Boba Fett™. The Book of Boba Fett will open onto Disney+ on December 29.

Netflix has added their first actor to the cast of Zack Snyder’s upcoming film Rebel Moon. Sofia Boutella (The Mummy, Atomic Blonde) will play the lead role. Rebel Moon will follow the unnamed character’s battles against the armies of the tyrannical Regent Balisarius.

Crunchyroll released the first episode of their anime called The World’s Finest Assassin Gets Reincarnated in Another World as an Aristocrat. The episode, titled “Quantum of Trust,” follows a protagonist and his crew as they destroy corrupt nobles. The first episode of the anime is available for free on YouTube now.
Moonfall Teaser Trailer
Lionsgate released the teaser trailer for their upcoming film Moonfall. In the film, a mysterious force knocks the Moon from its orbit around Earth and sends it hurtling on a collision course with life as we know it. Moonfall will rise into theaters on February 4, 2022.
