Marvel’s Armor Wars Becomes A Movie

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel has decided to develop one of their upcoming series as a feature film instead. Armor Wars, starring Don Cheadle as War Machine, will now be a movie. Yassir Lester, who was acting as head writer on the series, will still pen the script for the film. There is no release date for Armor Wars at this time.

Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes

According to Deadline, 20th Century Studio is set to make a new film in the Planet of the Apes franchise. Freya Allan will star in the project. Deadline also released the very first look at the film, revealing a chimpanzee riding on horseback to an overgrown and abandoned city, as a messenger bird seems to return to the chimp’s arm with a message. There is no release date for Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes at this time.

Marvel’s Blade Loses Director

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel has lost a director for one of its upcoming films. Bassam Tariq, who was set to direct Blade, starring Mahershala Ali, will no longer be able to direct the film due to shifts in the production schedule. Tariq will remain an executive producer on the film. Blade is still currently set to release on November 3, 2023.

The Rings of Power New Episode

A new episode of The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power premieres today. This episode, titled “Udûn,” sees the battle for the Southlands begin. The sixth episode of The Rings of Power is on Amazon Prime now.
