Russo Bros Developing Magic: the Gathering Anime for Netflix

Filmmakers Joe and Anthony Russo are teaming with Netflix and Wizards of the Coast to produce a Magic: the Gathering animated series for Netflix. The show will be based on the popular card game franchise and will expand on the story of the Planeswalkers. Magic: the Gathering does not currently have a release date on Netflix.

Hulu Announces Looking for Alaska Premiere Date

Hulu has announced the official premiere date for the upcoming limited series Looking for Alaska. Based on John Green’s young adult novel, the drama stars Kristine Froseth, Charlie Plummer, Denny Love, and more. All eight episodes of Looking for Alaska will premiere on Hulu on October 18th.

Netflix Debuts New Trailer for Dark: The Apocalypse Season 2

Netflix has released a new trailer for season 2 of its German drama series Dark: The Apocalypse. The sci-fi and time-travel series follows a deadly conspiracy across three timelines in the 50s, 80s, and 2019. Dark: The Apocalypse premieres on June 21st on Netflix.

Netflix Releases First Look Image for Cursed Fantasy Series

Netflix has released a first look image for the upcoming series Cursed, based on an illustrated novel from Tom Wheeler and Frank Miller. The story reimagines the legend of King Arthur from the perspective of the Lady of the Lake, who begins the story as a young girl. Cursed will premiere on Netflix some time in 2020.
