Ryan Coogler Officially Signs on to Write and Direct Black Panther Sequel, DC’s Secret Six on CBS, and More!

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director Ryan Coogler has officially signed on to write and direct a Black Panther sequel for Marvel. While not much is known about the landscape of the Marvel Cinematic Universe following Avengers 4, this sequel to the hit Black Panther film is expected to begin filming late next year.

CBS is reportedly developing a drama series based on the Secret Six from DC Comics. This enigmatic group features six morally ambiguous stranger who all have their own specialties and powers, brought together into a team by blackmail. No further details are known about the Secret Six series at this time.

Universal Pictures has released a new trailer for Glass, M. Night Shyamalan’s upcoming horror-thriller film. Glass is the third in a trilogy of films, bringing together the worlds of Unbreakable and Split, starring Bruce Willis, Samuel L. Jackson, and James McAvoy. Glass opens in theaters on January 18th, 2019.

Netflix has released a new clip from its upcoming Chilling Adventures of Sabrina series, introducing Sabrina’s beloved familiar, Salem. The minute-long clip features the appearance of a frightening, shadowy creature that turns itself into a black cat, Sabrina’s iconic witchy companion. Chilling Adventures of Sabrina begins streaming on Netflix on October 26th.
