Star Trek Picard Series to Stream Internationally on Amazon Prime

CBS and Amazon have announced that the upcoming Star Trek spinoff series about Captain Picard will stream internationally on Amazon Prime. For viewers in the US, the series will be exclusive to CBS All Access, but Amazon Prime will host the series for more than 200 international countries. There is no premiere date for the Picard series at this time.


Netflix Releases Official What/If Trailer

Netflix has released the official trailer for What/If, a new neo-noir drama series starring Renee Zellweger. The anthology series explores the ripple effects of acceptable people doing unacceptable things, and also stars Blake Jenner and Jane Levy. The first 10-episode season of What/If begins streaming on May 24th on Netflix.

The Purge 5 Gets Summer 2020 Release Date

Universal Pictures has announced the release date for the untitled fifth film in The Purge franchise. The film will be produced by Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes, continuing the horrifying tale of the 12-hour lawless rampage sanctioned by the government. The Purge 5 opens in theaters on July 10th, 2020.


Rami Malek to Join Crime Thriller Little Things

According to Deadline, actor Rami Malek is in talks to join the cast of the crime thriller Little Things alongside Denzel Washington. Malek would star as a young detective who teams up with a deputy sheriff to pursue a serial killer at large. Little Things has no premiere date at this time.


Doris Day Passes Away
