Due to social distancing, many of us have found ourselves with more time inside than usual. Many of our schedules have changed, giving us the opportunity to try new things. As fans of pop culture ourselves, Sideshow’s Staff is happy to share a few suggestions to help you fill your newfound time with high quality content.
To help encourage everyone to Stay InsideShow, every day this week we will be recommending one film/series, one comic/book, one board game, and one video game that you can enjoy while you practice safe social distancing. These picks are the best of the best, curated and personally suggested by our very geeky staff.

Welcome to the Monkey House by Kurt Vonnegut
This is a collection of extremely entertaining short stories written by Kurt Vonnegut in his early career. Few make much sense and all are thought provoking. It’s easy to pick up and put down as you please, and one I would definitely recommend to anyone who enjoys short bursts of entertainment.

Escape Room in a Box: The Werewolf Experiment (2-8 players, 60+min, Ages 13+)
Does your home feel like an escape room these days? Why not keep the family inside with a fun, timed activity? The Werewolf Experiment comes with everything you need to experience an escape room from the comfort of your house! You have one hour, 19 puzzles, and 3 locks standing between you and an unfortunate fate- you have been on the receiving end of a serum that will transform you into a werewolf if you cannot find the antidote within an hour. Every part of the game box is fair game in the puzzles, so communicate and pay close attention to everything included with this game!
(I’d recommend you also all work together on puzzles one at a time- when I played this with friends, we actually had someone grab the final puzzle and get it open with a lucky guess… only 9 minutes into the game. We went on to solve everything in order, but pay careful attention and work as a team!!!)
