The DCEU Joins the Arrowverse
Last night on The CW, it was confirmed that the DC Extended Universe is a part of the Arrowverse. Ezra Miller’s Flash made a shocking appearance in the Crisis on Infinite Earths finale. The secret was so well kept that even Supergirl actress Melissa Benoist didn’t know about the cameo. Crisis on Infinite Earths will be available on The CW’s streaming service soon.
Marvel’s Avengers Delayed
Marvel’s upcoming video game called Marvel’s Avengers has been delayed for four months. Crystal Dynamics, the developers of the game, explained that they wanted to fine tune and polish the game, so that that they can deliver the ultimate Avengers gaming experience. Marvel’s Avengers will now be released on September 4th, 2020.
Lord of the Rings Casting
TV Line reported the full cast of Amazon’s upcoming Lord of the Rings series. On top of the previously announced cast, Owain Arthur and Nazanin Boniadi have joined the show. No character details have been released at this time.
The John Wick Universe Expands
Starz president and CEO Jeffrey Hirsch gave an update on the upcoming John Wick spinoff series called The Continental. He explained that the project is moving along, and that the script is in development so that it doesn’t interfere with the motion picture side of the house. John Wick’s universe will continue to expand with their upcoming spinoff film called Ballerina, and John Wick 4 in the next few years.
