The New Mutants Gets a Release Date

Marvel has confirmed the new theatrical release date for their X-Men film The New Mutants. In the film, Magik, Wolfsbane and other teenage mutants try to come to grips with their superpowers while staying at a secret facility. The New Mutants will fly into theaters on August 28th.


Superman & Lois Casting

According to Deadline, The CW has cast Inde Navarrette for the role of Lana Lang’s daughter. Sarah Cushing is “a whip smart, super cool wild child with some demons in her past who becomes friends with the Kent boys, Jonathan and Jordan.” Superman & Lois will premiere on The CW within the next year.

Nintendo released an announcement trailer for their upcoming game Paper Mario: The Origami King. An origami plot unfolds, taking over Princess Peach’s Castle, and only Paper Mario can defend the Kingdom. Paper Mario: The Origami King will be available on July 17th.


Undiscovered Country Adaptation Update

Writer and director Scott Snyder has been developing film adaptations of his comic series, Undiscovered Country. Snyder has been working on a screenplay for Undisovered Country, and he said that he’ll hand in the draft within this month. There is no further news about the Undiscovered Country adaptation at this time.
