Warner Bros. Announces New DC Showcase Animations

Warner Bros. Animation has announced five new DC Showcase animated shorts that will highlight a number of DC Comics characters. These shorts will be included on DC Universe movie releases, and will focus on Sgt. Rock, the Phantom Stranger, Adam Strange, Death, and Batman. The DC Showcase shorts will be released periodically between 2019 and 2020.

Richard Madden in Talks for The Eternals Movie

According to The Wrap, actor Richard Madden is in talks to join the cast of Marvel’s The Eternals. Details on his character are being kept under wraps currently, but he joins previously cast stars Angelina Jolie and Kumail Nanjiani. Marvel’s The Eternals does not currently have a release date.

FX Releases Legion Final Season Trailer

FX has released the official trailer for the final season of the X-Men spinoff series Legion, starring Dan Stevens and Aubrey Plaza. The mind-bending new footage teases the appearance of Cerebro, Professor X, and the mechanics of time travel. Legion returns to FX for its third and final season on June 24th.

What We Do in the Shadows Renewed for Season 2

The vampire mockumentary series What We Do in the Shadows has been officially renewed for a second season on FX. Based on the film by Taika Waititi and Jemaine Clement, the series follows a group of vampire roommates living on Staten Island, struggling to take over the new world. What We Do in the Shadows currently airs on Wednesday nights on FX.
