Sculpted with an incredibly detailed likeness of actor Peter Cushing in the iconic role, this statue captures an expression of fearlessness and resolve, with Cushing’s wide blue eyes, furrowed brows, unmistakable cheekbones, and carefully styled hair.
The Van Helsing Premium Format Figure is a mixed media horror collectible with a fully tailored fabric costume recreating the character’s signature appearance onscreen. I bought this statue last year and finally displayed it with my Christopher Lee Dracula. I love this statue, one of my fav. statues in my collection. It such a nostalgic statue and I grew up watching Hammer Horror Films. What I really love about is the way Mr. Cushing is dressed. A beautiful fabric outfit and that shearling coat he is wearing is classy. If you already have the Christopher Lee Dracula you must have this statue to compliment it. You wont regret it!!!!
I recently purchased both this and the accompanying Dracula (you cant have one without the other, in my opinion), and my thoughts and opinions are stronger with this one than Dracula, frankly. To begin with, this is truly a SPECTACULAR sculpt of Peter Cushing, and I believe it is my favorite of the two. How can you resist his staunch posture, furrowed expression, and his cross and stake and hammer at his ready. Nothing else to say but phenomenal, and its essential that every collector acquire these before they're completely gone. I'm picky about statues and comparing them to the prototypes, but these two, in particular this Van Helsing, is better than the prototype. If one not pick, which is my fashion, is the tie. It's pretty bothersome of how it doesnt stay in shape. This is a perfect and outright work of art, and will be center of attention in my future man cave/figure room. Beyond pleased with Sideshow commitment to delivering pure awesomeness! Buy this NOW!
I got this masterpiece in the mail today and, as a huge Peter Cushing fan, I positively love it. It captures his likeness perfectly and is a must have for vampire hunters everywhere! It's easy to construct, too, and very durable. Highly recommended for Hammer film fans! It's a definitive rendition of one of horror's lasting icons.
