Ariel Olivetti

Ariel Olivetti biography image

Born in Buenos Aires, Argentina, illustrator Ariel Olivetti completed his college studies in Graphic Design and began to make covers for the Argentine magazine FIERRO. In 1994, he published his first superhero artwork for Marvel, The Last Avengers Story, scripted by Peter David. Olivetti has worked in many different techniques, including black and white, digital color, acrylics, and oil paints. Since his first work with Marvel, Olivetti has drawn X-Man (Nate Grey), Daredevil, the Avengers, and at DC Comics he has worked on Batman, Superman, JLA, and Space Ghost.

 

Currently, Olivetti has finished his first personal project, ICH: Brutal Nature, with the scripter Saracino, and he continues to work on various Marvel comics. With Sideshow Art Prints, he has created portraits of characters like The Punisher, Lobo, and Hulk.
