Kat Hudson
As a character designer, Kat Hudson has had clients that include Disney, Dreamworks, and Hasbro, In the past she has been a character designer for FX Network's Archer, and is currently a designer for Warner Brothers Animation on the reboot of DC Superhero Girls.
Kathryn received her BFA from Belhaven University in Mississippi and went on to complete her MFA in Illustration at the Savannah College of Art and Design. She and her husband moved from Atlanta to Los Angeles in 2017.
Kat's work combines the minimalism of mid-century aesthetics with hyper focused colors, textures, and patterns. Sideshow Art Prints collaborated with her to produce two vibrant and playful pieces of superhero artwork, celebrating the Avengers and the Gotham City Sirens. Both limited edition pieces are now sold out. Party at Avengers Tower was a Marvel art print perfect for pairing with Sideshow's Avengers Assemble statues or displaying on its own with custom framing options. The Sleepover Sirens DC Comics print was designed based on 3D designer collectible toys by Cameron Scott Davis, showing Catwoman, Harley Quinn, and Poison Ivy taking a night off of villainy for some rest and relaxation.
