Nan Lawson is a self taught artist and illustrator based in Los Angeles. She earned a degree in Filmmaking from Syracuse University, but after graduating she pursued her passion in illustration.
Now she has combined both her love of film and art to carve out her career in pop culture and poster art. She works in publishing and the entertainment industry; creating picture books and book covers, as well as officially licensed art and posters for film and television. She participates in several gallery shows a year and has worked with clients including Harper Collins, Audible, Random House, Hachette, Amblin Entertainment, and Warner Bros. If she’s not drawing, she is drinking coffee and daydreaming about what she wants to draw next.
