Captain Rex

Captain Rex served the Republic during the Clone Wars, often working alongside Anakin Skywalker and Ahsoka Tano. Rex viewed military service as an honor, and he always completed his mission. He also valued the lives of his brothers more than anything. Besides the geometric blue paint details on his armor, Rex put tally marks on his helmet. The lines denoted each brother killed in action. In this way, Captain Rex always honored and carried with him the lives lost during the Clone Wars.

Commander Cody

Besides Rex, Commander Cody was closest with his Jedi allies. Cody fought bravely alongside Obi-Wan Kenobi during the Clone Wars. A natural and practical leader in the clone army, Commander Cody had a keen ability to strategize, combined with his fierce combat style. His orange and white armor commands attention and speaks to his fiery nature in battle. Easy to stop, yet not overly ostentatious, Commander Cody’s armor set him apart from the rest.

Clone Trooper Jesse

Clone Trooper Jesse had one of the most interesting armor designs. Jesse was a hard-fighting soldier who proudly wore the cog-shaped symbol of the Galactic Republic on his helmet. This was identical to a large tattoo that covered his face from his chin to forehead. Otherwise, Jesse’s uniform was standard issue for his rank. The blue and white color scheme also matched Captain Rex’s, since they served together for a long time before Jesse’s death during Order 66.

Clone Commander Fox

Clone Commander Fox led the Coruscant Guard, an elite clone trooper unit assigned to serve as peacekeepers on the Republic’s capital world. Like every other clone trooper in the Guard, Fox was bound by honor and duty to protect and serve the Supreme Chancellor and the members of the Galactic Senate. Their fierce determination and importance within the garrison could be seen in the red-colored armor. Fox’s armor, additionally, showed his rank with improved visor, helmet, and gauntlet pieces.

ARF Trooper

Advanced Recon Force Troopers, also known as ARF Troopers, wore lighter armor for stealth and speed. They often rode All Terrain Reconnaissance Transports (AT-RT) walkers into battle. ARF Troopers and their AT-RT machines matched, allowing them both regimental cohesion and environmental camouflage. Their weathered armor separated them from their clone counterparts stationed in cities. Recon troopers, as the name and suits suggest, were deployed on rougher terrain.

Captain Vaughn

Captain Vaughn served in the 332nd Company in the Siege of Mandalore. He fought alongside Ahsoka Tano in the battle to free the Mandalorian people from Maul. Although Ahsoka had left the Jedi Order, Vaughn still recognized her as a commander and important figure to the clones. Thus he and the other 501st Legion members painted their helmets to pay homage to her Togruta markings and lekku.

Hunter

The Bad Batch, technically known as Clone Force 99, was the result of Kaminoan experiments to create a specialist unit of clone commandos. Hunter, their leader, was a strong and stoic soldier. Hunter had extraordinarily keen senses that gave him an edge when tracking down his targets. In typical Bad Batch fashion, he wore black and red armor. His armor was also fitted to his unique body type, skill set, and weapons arsenal.

Sergeant Hound

Sergeant Hound’s armor undoubtedly struck fear into his target’s hearts! He served the Republic as a skilled Advanced Recon Force Trooper Sergeant of the Coruscant Guard. Trained as a massiff handler, Hound relied on his companion Grizzer to track down fugitives. Fittingly, Sergeant Hound’s armor resembled his dog-like companion. It was sharp, with a modified helmet inspired by the canine’s cranial structure. Hound also painted his armor with a custom massiff insignia and preferred a red, gray, and darker white palette that we often associate with villains such as the Sith.

ARC Trooper Fives

Also known as CT-27-5555, Fives trained with Domino Squad before transferring to the the 501st Legion. His armor was blue, black, and white like his squad’s. But Fives still displayed his individual personality and aesthetics. His helmet included subtle pained patterns and red accents. Additionally, although not part of his armor, Fives had a numerical 5 tattooed on his forehead. It seems like ARC Troopers — including Jesse, above — loved to get inked!

Clone Commando Gregor

Gregor’s armor showcased the distinctive look of his unique 212th battalion palette. It was meticulously painted with yellow markings, gray camouflage patterns, and weathering effects. And although the pattern was created before Gregor put it on, his costume related to his story. Gregor once survived a shuttle crash that left him stranded on the distant world of Abafar, stripped of memory and identity. He blended in with the locals until he reclaimed his name and armor.

104th Battaltion Wolfpack Clone Trooper

In honor of their fallen brothers, the 104th Battalion swapped their normal maroon armor for a gray colorway. So many clone armor alterations related to honoring unique personalities or lost soldiers, speaking to the camaraderie among troopers. Plus, each Wolfpack clone added specific geometric patterns to their face and shoulder armor to imitate wild wolf markings. Look out — when the pack surrounds you, you won’t escape their teeth, claws, and biting blasters.
