Whatever you do, don’t exhaust her patience. All that reasonable behavior has its limits. After years of heartache, Wanda Maximoff finally loses her grip on reality — so she makes her own. With and without context, this quote is absurd in the best way. It leans into the unhinged elements of super hero stories and feels like it’s been lifted from a comic book page. However, in the moment, it’s probably extremely difficult to stop running from danger and allow yourself to be swallowed into a pocket dimension within an alien kitty’s tentacle mouth.
