Black Lightning Spinoff Painkiller

According to Deadline, Jordan Calloway’s Painkillerwill star in a planned spinoff episode of Black Lightning Season 4. The episode and potential show will follow Khalil Payne, who is Painkiller, a meta with the power to generate a paralyzing agent from his body that is distributed through darts. Salim Akil is set to be the writer, executive producer and director of the pilot.

Actor Peter Stormare, who played Lucifer in Keanu Reeves’ Constantine film, shared a photo of himself as Lucifer on Instagram. The caption reads “Sequel in the works.” There is no further news about Constantine at this time.


The Witcher Series Update

The Witcher showrunner Lauren S. Hissrich recently confirmed that the show is going to explore Geralt’s disability, featured heavily in Andrzej Sapkowski’s original novels. In the stories, Geralt suffered major injuries after a duel with a sorcerer known as Vilgefortz, injuries that he never fully recovered from and affected him throughout the rest of the series. Hissrich said she’s excited, “to add this layer to our hero.”


Future Star Wars Series Update




Showrunner Leslye Headland recently shared an update about her upcoming Star Wars series. She explained that we’ll be exploring, “a pocket of the universe and a pocket of the timeline that we don’t know much about. There’s going to be some things we haven’t discussed in the canon yet” and “some characters you don’t know about.”
