Court of the Dead Action Figures Coming from Boss Fight Studio in 2020
Boss Fight Studio will create 4” action figures based on characters from Sideshow’s debut original property, the Court of the Dead
The Court of the Dead is an original dark fantasy universe from Sideshow. Boss Fight Studio has licensed the exclusive right to produce highly-detailed 4” articulated action figures of Court of the Dead characters. The deal was brokered by Boss Fight Studio’s agent, FanGirl Consulting & Brand Management.
“The quality and level of detail that Boss Fight Studio has achieved in the 4” collectible scale is spectacular,” said Tom Gilliland, Chief Creative Officer at Sideshow and creator of the Court of the Dead. “We are so excited to see our own characters translated into such an accessible and space-friendly format.”
Sideshow is a pop culture collectibles lifestyle brand, known for its museum-quality pop culture collectibles. The dark fantasy universe of the Court of the Dead is Sideshow’s debut original property. Launched in 2013, the Court of the Dead boasts more than 60 collectibles and fine art prints, a library of five books, and a curated collection of seven active licensees.
The Court of the Dead story features Death (known as the “Alltaker” in this universe), who must lead the Underworld to band together and rebel against the equally corrupt armies of Heaven and Hell in order to save themselves, and the realm of mortals.
“The intricately detailed designs and beautifully creative lore inherent to the Court of the Dead marry seamlessly with the core essence of the Vitruvian H.A.C.K.S brand,” said Sarah Brown, Director Business Development and Marketing at Boss Fight. “We are thrilled to partner with Sideshow to deliver a new realm of figures to our collective fans in 2020.”

About Court of the Dead and Boss Fight Studio
Court of the Dead® is Sideshow’s original dark fantasy horror property. Launched in 2013, the brand features a collection of more than 60 collectibles and fine art prints, a library of five books, a successfully Kickstarted tabletop board game, and a curated collection of seven active licensees. The Court of the Dead was created by Tom Gilliland, Sideshow’s Chief Creative Officer. For Tom, who was raised on a diet of heavy metal music and Dungeons & Dragons, the property is his version of a superhero team – a seemingly horrific group of anti-heroes striving for redemption through self-determination. Led by Death (known as the “Alltaker” in this universe), the Underworld must band together the divergent factions of Bone, Flesh and Spirit to rise up and rebel against the equally corrupt armies of Heaven and Hell in order to save themselves, and the realm of mortals.
