Day 1 Wrap-Up for Sideshow’s “New York” Con!
All this week, Sideshow presents an online convention experience that celebrates the city that never sleeps: Sideshow’s “New York” Con!
Sideshow’s “New York” Con 2022 is hosted from a custom-built exhibition space that showcases a curated selection of the latest pop culture collectibles from some of the biggest names in the industry. Day 1 Highlights
Star Wars
Hot Toys shared a huge selection of Star Wars™-inspired figures, including an exclusive video giving fans an up-close look at the new Darth Vader™, Reva (Third Sister)™, and The Grand Inquisitor™ from the hit Disney Plus series, Obi-Wan Kenobi™.
It was an awesome day for Clone Wars™ fans, as Hot Toys displayed several stunning 1/6 scale figures including Ahsoka Tano™, Captain Rex™, Anakin Skywalker & STAP™, Darth Maul™, and Echo™, among others!
Fans of The Mandalorian™ saw several 1/6 scale figures on display, including Din Djarin™ himself, The Mandalorian™ and The Child (Deluxe) Set, Boba Fett™ (Deluxe), The Dark Trooper™, Boba Fett (Repaint Armor), Moff Gideon™, and a Grogu™ figure set.
Critical Role
Sideshow’s Critical Role lineup continues to level up!
Get ready to RAGE as Grog joins the fray! The battle-ready brawler was displayed alongside the wise and powerful Nature Warden, Keyleth, the Grand Mistress of the Grey Hunt, Vex, and the stealth Champion of the Matron of Ravens, Vax, in Sideshow’s expanding Vox Machina-inspired collection.
Two fan-favorite members of the Mighty Nein were also featured: the charismatic spellcaster Fjord and hotheaded martial artist Beau both made an appearance.
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt
The latest addition to Prime 1 Studios’ Museum Masterline Series draws inspiration from the epic action-adventure RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The gigantic Geralt of Rivia (Deluxe) 1:3 Scale Statue perfectly captures the captivating aura and intimidating presence of the beloved video game character.
Mortal Kombat
Finish him! Iron Studios displayed two of their latest Mortal Kombat–inspired 1/10 scale statues, Scorpion and Sub-Zero!
Aeon Flux
Sci-fi fans got an up-close look at the giant-sized new Aeon Flux Statue by Premium Collectibles Studio. This eye-catching 1/3 scale statue is a love letter to the cult dystopian future of Æon Flux, depicting the deadly secret agent in a suitably dynamic pose.
Michael Jackson
Annie, are you OK? The Michael Jackson: Smooth Criminal Deluxe 1/3 Scale Statue by PureArts is a giant-sized, gravity-defying tribute to the King of Pop. This hyper-realistic statue with custom-tailored fabric clothing is a must have for any Michael Jackson fan.
How To Train Your Dragon
If you love How To Train Your Dragon as much as we do, then you’ll adore Sideshow’s “New York” Con display! We returned to the Hidden World as Toothless, the Light Fury, and their adorable offspring, Dart, Pouncer, and Ruffrunner, were all on display.
