Disney Releases Mulan Trailer

Disney released a trailer for the live action adaptation of Mulan. The trailer shows Hua Mulan in a much more serious light than her animated counterpart and seems to adapt the original Chinese poem “Ballad of Mulan” much more closely. Disney’s live action adaptation of Mulan will hit theaters in Spring of 2020.

Disney Releases Maleficient Trailer

Disney dropped the official trailer for Maleficent: Mistress of Evil. The film will take place several years after the first movie, and show the ever-evolving relationship between Maleficent and Princess Aurora. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil will be in theaters on October 18th, 2019.

Netflix Sets Release Date for Cannon Busters

Netflix has set an official release date for its adaptation of LeSean Thomas’ comic-book “Cannon Busters”. Cannon Busters tells the story of a friendship drone named S.A.M. who is looking for the heir to the throne of a war-torn kingdom with the help of a maintenance robot, and a deadly fugitive. Cannon Busters will drop on Netflix on August 15th, 2019.

New Photos of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker

Two new photos of Joaquin Phoenix’s Joker have been released. He is being featured on the digital and print cover of the July issue of Empire Magazine, with both showing the Joker’s iconic white makeup and green hair. Joker will hit theaters on October 4th, 2019.
