Ghost Rider (Classic Variant) Premium Format Figure

The Ghost Rider (Classic Variant) Premium Format Figure features multiple light-up components, allowing the statue’s extensive flame sculpture to illuminate in fiery detail with the press of a button. From the wheel and engine base of Ghost Rider’s Hell Cycle to the flames around his skeletal face, the hellfire sculpture lights up from within for an eye-catching display.

The Classic Variant Ghost Rider also features a new paint scheme inspired by Johnny Blaze’s comic book origins. You can see the full contrast with the previous release right here!

What’s different in this new Classic Variant? Ghost Rider’s burning skull is now painted a skeletal white, upping the intensity of the hero’s hellfire. While his Hell Cycle is painted with even more red to capture the look of heated metal, his suit is updated to reflect the cooler tones of classic blue-on-black highlights from the comic page.

The Ghost Rider statue is fully sculpted in a dynamic pose, with swaths of light-up hellfire swirling around the iconic antihero. Bursting through the earth from the depths of Hell itself, this is one epic, action-packed display — you’d better hope he doesn’t have his sights on you!

How Did Johnny Become a Ghost Rider?

Johnny Blaze, the original Ghost Rider, started off as a stunt driver. In fact, that was the family business. When his stepfather became sick, Johnny turned to a dark solution in his desperation. He made a deal with the devil himself — Mephisto. A soul for a soul. Of course, Mephisto is known to lie so when his stepfather still died, Johnny defied their deal. As punishment, Mephisto bonded Johnny with a demon named Zarathos. From that moment on, Johnny became the Ghost Rider.

Not one to follow the rules, Johnny used his newfound powers to become a Spirit of Vengeance, using abilities like the Penance Stare to destroy the souls of the wicked. With that signature move, his opponent relives all of their mistakes and past wrongs. They’re then left comatose. He rides around on his Hell Cycle, dispensing justice as he sees fit with the crack of his burning whip. And that skull is always laughing, despite the pain burning deep in Johnny’s heart.
