Hans Zimmer to Score Wonder Woman 1984, New Images for The Walking Dead Season 9 Premiere, and More!

Renowned composer Hans Zimmer has announced that he will direct the score for DC’s upcoming film Wonder Woman 1984. He had previously announced his retirement from superhero movie scores following Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice but is making an exception for the Amazonian princess. Wonder Woman 1984 opens in theaters on November 15, 2019.


Amazon Studios has released a new official trailer for its upcoming horror film Suspiria. This remake of the cult horror film stars Dakota Johnson, Tilda Swinton, and Chloe Grace Moretz, and tells the story of a dance company haunted by dark secrets. Suspiria will have a limited October debut, and then opens in theaters nationwide on November 2nd.

AMC has revealed 12 new images from the upcoming Season 9 premiere of The Walking Dead. The new season will pick up nearly two years after the events of Season 8’s finale, and the images show a new side of the apocalypse as the survivors rebuild their world. The Walking Dead Season 9 will be Andrew Lincoln’s final season with the series, and new episodes premiere on AMC on October 7th.


The Showtime network is currently developing a new drama series based on the 2017 horror novel Kill Creek. Scott Derrickson, known for his work on Doctor Strange, is teaming up with Underground co-creator Misha Green to executive produce the series. Kill Creek follows the story of four horror authors who spend Halloween night in a haunted house, awakening an unsettling dark entity.
