Hot Toys unveils their first figures from Star Wars The Force Awakens – Kylo Ren and First Order Stormtroopers
“There has been an awakening, have you felt it?”
To kick off a long-awaited collection on Force Friday, Sideshow is excited to present the first Hot Toys figures from Star Wars: The Force Awakens!
First up is a the mysterious main character – Kylo Ren. A dark warrior strong with the Force, Kylo Ren gains his name from the Knights of Ren and commands First Order missions. His unique self-made crossguard lightsaber has already captured all Star Wars figure and collectible fans’ attention upon its first reveal!
The Hot Toys figure features Kylo Ren in a meticulously tailored layered outfit with weathered helmet, the character’s signature lightsaber with LED light-up function, and a specially designed hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem.
Hot Toys has also revealed a new army of First Order Stormtroopers, including a standard soldier, a heavy gunner, a set of the two, and a Squad Leader. Although the Galactic Empire had fallen after the Battle of Endor in Return of the Jedi, a new organization called the First Order has come to power and this new military junta employs the use of Stormtroopers to execute its orders.
Each Stormtrooper features a newly designed armor and helmet, and specially designed hexagonal figure stand with the First Order’s emblem.. The standard First Order Stormtrooper will be equipped with a blaster rifle and blaster pistol while the First Order Heavy Gunner Stormtrooper is armed with an articulated megablaster, a blaster pistol, and an artillery vest. The exclusive Squad Leader will also feature new armor with a white pauldron that indicates advanced rank, and a blaster.
