Let the Ant-icipation Begin: Ant-Man and the Wasp Officially Begins Production!

Marvel Studios just dropped some BIG news with a little twist.  Production and filming for 2018’s Ant-Man and The Wasp film have officially begun production!

They shared a quick behind-the-scenes tease of the back of a production chair, featuring the film’s logo, as well as two much smaller seats for the film’s biggest stars.  The short video doesn’t show much else, apart from a blurred screen that has people- cast? crew?- moving about as the words “Now in Production” officially flash across the screen.

Ant-Man first premiered in 2015, introducing MCU fans to Scott Lang, the second man to take on the Ant-Man mantle.  It also introduced Hope Van Dyne, daughter of Hank Pym and Janet Van Dyne, the original Ant-Man and the Wasp duo.  The sequel will see Hope become a hero and team up with Scott to continue the legacy of the costumes together.

More casting news as well as some awesome concept art posters were announced during Marvel’s Hall H panel at San Diego Comic-Con.  Wonder if this film will have any after-credits stingers?  The ant-icipation is killing us!  Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp will premiere in theaters on July 6th, 2018.
