You know what they say … the suit makes the Spider-Man! Well, okay, so maybe nobody says that. Actually it was kinda the opposite — you know, the whole “with great power” thing.

But hey, a flashy new suit certainly doesn’t hurt! With the release of Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, the long-awaited sequel to the smash-hit video games Marvel’s Spider-Man and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales, there are plenty of new suits to choose from. Some even feature designs from fan-favorite artists like Taurin Clarke, Peach Momoko, Kris Anka, Anthony Francisco, and more.

New Spider-Suit Designs for Marvel’s Spider-Man 2

In addition to the suits below, many of which are designed by some of today’s most high-profile comic book artists, other fun suits are featured in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, such as callbacks to Peter Parker’s MCU appearances as well as suits inspired by Black Panther and Wolverine, among others.

Peter Parker’s 25th Century Suit by Anthony Francisco

Spider-Man is no stranger to the benefits of time travel, especially when it comes to new tech for his suit. This 25th Century Suit by Anthony Francisco takes style elements from a sleek spacesuit, from the big boots to the helmet and armor pads.

Miles Morales’ Agimat Suit by Anthony Francisco

Anthony Francisco was inspired by Indigenous designs from Filipino tribes, giving Miles Morales a one-of-a-kind suit that highlights his special connection to many different communities. In Tagalog, agimat refers to an amulet. Plus, the purple suit and gold accents make for a striking combo while swinging from the rooftops.

Miles Morales’ Apunkalyptic Suit

You’ve gotta be prepared for the end of the world when you’re Spider-Man — and who better to embody that spirit than the always-cool Hobie Brown? Miles Morales’ Apunkalyptic Suit is styled after Spider-Punk, the anarchist Spider-Hero from Britain with a leather jacket and plenty of notes to spare.

Peter Parker’s Arachknight Suit

A Spider-Hero wouldn’t get very far without a friendly neighborhood full of allies! Well, maybe friendly is being a bit generous, but Spider-Man has formed some excellent partnerships over the years, especially with street-level heroes like Moon Knight. The Arachknight Suit combines Spider-Man’s signature red undertones with Moon Knight’s silvery white hood and cape, creating a unique look for swinging in the skies under a gleaming crescent moon.

Miles Morales’ Brooklyn 2099 Suit by Taurin Clarke

For the Brooklyn 2099 Suit, Taurin Clarke took Miles Morales all the way to the future — narrowed eye openings as well as a metallic sheen give this suit a swift, futuristic feel. With its slightly more arachnoid facial features, and a darker tone, it’s an excellent complement to Spider-Man 2099’s iconic suit.

Miles Morales’ EnC0ded Suit by Kris Anka

Kris Anka gives this Miles Morales suit a high-tech upgrade, with flashes of neon yellow and orange on the hero’s chest, eyes, and boots. This one’s a technical wonder!

Peter Parker’s Kumo Suit by Peach Momoko

Kumo means spider in Japanese, which spurred Peach Momoko’s inspiration to create a Spider-Suit that pays homage to traditional Japanese tattoo art as well as fashion around Spider-Man’s toes, sleeves, and hood.

Peter Parker’s Symbiote Suit

Venom plays a key part in Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, so it’s only fitting that the Symbiote Suit makes an appearance. Sleek black with sinister touches, this suit always sends a shiver (and an inky tendril) down Spidey fans’ backs.
