DC’s Batgirl Film Canceled

Warner Bros. Discovery Inc. has decided to cancel the upcoming Batgirl film. The film had already completed production, and was originally set to be released exclusively on HBO Max. The Sandman New Photo

Neil Gaiman shared new character photos from the upcoming season of Netflix’s The Sandman. The photos introduce Ernest Kingsley Junior and Deborah Oyelade as Morpheus and Nada respectively. Queen Nada and her people knew the entity of Dream by the name of Kai’ckul, and it is through that name and perception of Morpheus himself that changes his appearance. In the comics, Nada and Morpheus were deeply in love, but Morpheus was arrogant and egotistical, and feeling rejected, he banished her to Hell. The Sandman will premiere on Netflix on August 5.

Prey Poster

Hulu shared new posters for their upcoming film Prey. The posters show cave drawings of a warrior fighting a Predator, one with the word “Ku̵htaamia” in red. “Ku̵htaamia” is a Comanche word representing a hero’s rite of passage. Prey premieres on Hulu on August 5.

Gotham Knights First 16 Minutes

WB Games Montreal and DC Comics shared the first 16 minutes of their upcoming game Gotham Knights. The first 16 minutes introduce some of the gameplay elements, quite a few of the characters, and the dangerous state of Gotham City. Gotham Knights will premiere on October 25.
