The Future of Marvel Studios Animation

An article on Marvel.com gave us a glimpse into the future of Marvel Studios’ Animation. They teased upcoming episodes of Marvel’s What If…? Season 2. Executive producer Brad Winderbaum, head of streaming, television and animation for Marvel Studios also gave special guests a very first look at the previously announced X-Men ’97 and Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man  animated series. However, a brand new series was revealed for the first time. The series is called Eyes of Wakanda. Marvel says, “Throughout Wakandan history, brave warriors have been tasked to travel the world retrieving dangerous vibranium artifacts. This is their story.” Season 2 of What If…? will debut nightly on Disney+ starting on December 22.

Hazbin Hotel Official Trailer

Amazon Prime released the trailer for season 1 of Hazbin Hotel. “GET READY FOR An R-rated, animated musical comedy set in Hell. Yes, you read that right!! Created by Vivienne Medrano, Hazbin Hotel follows Charlie Morningstar, the princess of Hell, as she pursues her seemingly impossible goal of rehabilitating demons to peacefully reduce overpopulation in her kingdom.” Here’s a clip from the trailer. Hazbin Hotel will sing and dance on to Amazon Prime Video on January 19.

Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds Documentary

Kojima production released the first official trailer for Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds. The project is, “a documentary film that takes you on a journey into the creative mind of the most iconic video game creator in the world. Widely regarded as the first auteur of video games, this visually captivating documentary gives a rare insight into Hideo Kojima’s creative process as he launches his own independent studio. Featuring contributions from visionary artists such as Guillermo del Toro, Nicholas Winding Refn, Grimes, George Miller, Norman Reedus, Woodkid, Chvrches and many others, this thoughtful film explores the power and potential of video games as an art form through the work of an influential talent revered by millions worldwide.” There is no release date for Hideo Kojima: Connecting Worlds at this time.

Mouse Official Early Gameplay Trailer

Fumi Games released the early gameplay trailer for their upcoming game Mouse. They also released a description of the game. “Join private detective in MOUSE, a gritty, jazz-fueled shooter. With guns blazing and a retro rubber hose animation style, battle your way through a corrupt city full of crooks and danger. Inspired by classic FPS and noir films, MOUSE is the explosive shooter you’ve been waiting for.” There is no further news about Mouse.
