My Hero Academia: All’s Justice Premiere

Byking Inc. and Bandai Namco released their video game MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice. “SMASH through My Hero Academia’s final story arc and triumph over your foes in spectacular 3v3 battles! Follow the trials of Deku and other characters in the Final War between Heroes and Villains!” MY HERO ACADEMIA: All’s Justice is available on Steam now.

Brandon Sanderson’s Mistborn & Stormlight Archives Adaptations

The Hollywood Reporter confirmed that Apple TV is officially set to make the very first adaptation of Brandon Sanderson’s literary works.

It’s impossible to properly summarize how big a deal this is for fantasy readers, but at the very least, we can describe the premise of the first novel in the Mistborn series, as described by the author himself:

“A thousand years ago, the prophesied hero from lore rose up to overthrow a great and terrible evil. Only, he lost, and the Dark Lord took over and has been ruling with an iron fist for a thousand years. Ash falls from the sky in this barren land, and mists come every night, deep and mysterious. In this setting, a gang of thieves decides that the prophecies were all lies and that they can’t trust in some fabled hero to save them. They decide to take matters into their own hands, and plan a daring heist of the dark lord himself, planning to use the emperor’s own wealth to bribe his armies away from him and take over the empire.”

How To Train Your Dragon 2 Casting

Phil Dunster, best known for playing Jamie Tartt in Apple TV’s Ted Lasso, is set to join the live-action adaptation of How To Trian Your Dragon 2. He’ll play Eret, the self-proclaimed, “best dragon trapper alive.” How To Train Your Dragon 2 will fly into theaters on June 11, 2027.

Deadline confirmed that Ólafur Darri Ólafsson will play Thor in Amazon MGM Studios’ live-action adaptation of God of War.

“Thor is the God of Thunder, a mountain of a man who has weathered many a battle in his time, but whose actions in a war fought long ago now haunt his waking hours. Once the loyal soldier of Asgard and his father’s right-hand man, Thor is now but a shadow of his former self as he drowns himself in alcohol and tries not to think of the price he paid. Keeping his wife and children at arm’s length has only deepened his isolation, but the power (and danger) of the God of Thunder is still there just beneath the surface.”
