Donald Glover’s Spider-Man: Hypno-Hustler

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Donald Glover is set to join Sony’s Spider-Man Universe. He’s set to star in and produce a new movie that follows a rather unexpected villain: the Hypno-Hustler. There are no further details about Sony’s Hypno-Hustler film at this time.


Death Stranding Film Adaptation

According to Deadline, Kojima Productions and Hammerstone Studios are set to make a film adaptation based on the video game Death Stranding. The game takes place in “a fractured society after the cataclysmic ‘Death Stranding’ event, which has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society. Carrying the disconnected remnants of humanity’s future in his hands, players embody [Norman Reedus’] Sam Bridges as he embarks on a mission to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America.” There is no release date for the Death Stranding film at this time.


Five Nights at Freddy’s Casting

According to Deadline, Blumhouse has added two to the cast of their upcoming film adaptation of Five Nights at Freddy’s. They’ve cast Matthew Lillard (Shaggy in the Scooby Doo franchise) and Josh Hutcherson (The Hunger Games franchise) in undisclosed roles. There is no further news about Five Nights at Freddy’s at this time.


Jack Dylan Grazer Joins The Spiderwick Chronicles

According to Variety, Jack Dylan Grazer (DC’s Shazam!) has joined The Spiderwick Chronicles series adaptation. “Grazer will provide the voice of Thimbletack, a boggart who lives in the walls of the Spiderwick Estate. The character is further described as ‘hundreds of years old, Thimbletack is still a teenager amongst his kind, a mischief-maker with an explosive temper. He could be a great help to the Grace children…if only he could learn to control his own larger than life emotions.’”
