WB shared their final trailer for The Matrix: Resurrections. The trailer shows Neo and Trinity fighting against the noise of The Matrix with the noise of war. The Matrix: Resurrections will upload into theaters and onto HBO Max on December 22.

According to Deadline, director Destin Daniel Cretton is set to return to Marvel’s sequel to Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. Cretton is also reportedly developing TV projects for Marvel Studios. There is no further news about Shang-Chi 2 at this time.

HBO Max released a first look teaser for Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts. The teaser opens with a newspaper that says, “Hogwarts welcomes back alumni.” Harry Potter 20th Anniversary: Return to Hogwarts premieres on HBO Max on January 1, 2022.

Patty Jenkins Resumes Work on Star Wars: Rogue Squadron™

According to Deadline, Kari Skogland, who directed Marvel‘s The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, is taking over as director for Paramount’s Cleopatra film, starring Gal Gadot (Wonder Woman). Skogland is stepping in for now producer Patty Jenkins, who will be able to refocus on a previously paused Star Wars™ project. Patty Jenkins will continue work on Star Wars: Rogue Squadron™ and Wonder Woman 3.
