Timothy Zahn to Write New Star Trek Graphic Novel

As reported by Nerdist, prolific Star Wars™ author Timothy Zahn is set to boldly go and write his first Star Trek work ever. Zahn will be authoring a brand-new original graphic novel, Star Trek: Roc’s Egg, which will be illustrated by Ángel Hernández. The story will be set on board Deep Space Nine, where a mysterious artifact arrives seemingly destroyed in transit. A Federation investigation will uncover the dangerous truth behind the Roc’s Egg. This graphic novel is set to debut from IDW Publishing in October 2027.


Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ Official Launch Trailer

Star Wars has released an official launch trailer for its new high-speed racing game Star Wars: Galactic Racer™. In the game, players will get their hands on a range of podracers and pilots as they soar through the unsanctioned Galactic League of lawless racing. Star Wars: Galactic Racer™ is now available to play on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.


I Kill the Bear Series Trailer from Letterkenny Creator

New Metric Media and Play Fun Games Pictures have released an official trailer for the upcoming comedy series I Kill the Bear. The show comes from the mind of Jared Keeso, creator of Shoresy and Letterkenny. I Kill the Bear follows a family of bear-wranglers who work on movie sets, growing increasingly disconnected from Hollywood and its growing demands. I Kill the Bear will premiere November 6 on Canadian streaming service Crave.


Dr. Syn Comic Book Miniseries

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oni Press is going to revive a forgotten literary hero in a new comic book miniseries titled Dr. Syn. Based on the 20th-century pirate adventure hero created by Russell Thorndike, Dr. Syn will be a four issue miniseries co-written by Steven S. DeKnight and Michael E. Uslan, with art by Sebastián Cabrol. DeKnight is best known as the creator of the Spartacus series on Starz, while Uslan is a longtime producer of various Batman movies. Dr. Syn will debut in January 2027.
