What We Do in the Shadows Update

Harvey Guillen shared an update about the final season of Disney and FX on Hulu’s series What We Do in the Shadows. While many fans were surprised that the sixth season would the last, Guillen seemed less surprised. He said, “We had a feeling that it would have been like six or seven. Even five seasons would have been great…

…But we get a season to show where he goes from there…I think six is a good time frame to wrap it up. I think people are gonna be really excited about this season.” The final season of What We Do in the Shadows will eventually premiere on FX on Hulu.

The Dark Tower Series Update

During Emerald City Comic Con, and as shared by PopVerse, director Mike Flanagan was asked if there was one particular scene in his upcoming Dark Tower series adaptation that he can’t wait to bring to the screen. Flanagan said, “Very late in the story, there’s a scene that takes place in a forest where a character is being buried. And there’s a eulogy being given that made me cry the first time that I read it. That one speech just kills me, and I can’t wait for that.”

Dune Franchise Update

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Denis Villeneuve was asked about his current projects. He said, “I have four projects on the table, currently. One of them is a secret project that I cannot talk about right now, but that needs to see the light of day quite quickly. So it would be a good idea to do something in between projects, before tackling Dune Messiah and Cleopatra. All these projects are still being written, so we’ll see where they go, but I have no control over that.”

Garfield Movie New Trailer

Sony released a new trailer for The Garfield Movie. “Garfield, the world-famous, Monday-hating, lasagna-loving indoor cat, is about to have a wild outdoor adventure! After an unexpected reunion with his long-lost father – scruffy street cat Vic– Garfield and his canine friend Odie are forced from their perfectly pampered life into joining Vic in a hilarious, high-stakes heist.” The Garfield Movie premieres on May 24.
