See Pictures from the Star Wars Opening Night Event and Exhibit at TCL Chinese Theatre!

TCL Chinese Theatres and Sideshow teamed up to create a Star Wars collectibles and art exhibit that’s out of this world!

The curated gallery opened on Thursday, December 14th to celebrate the release of Star Wars: The Last Jedi, and featured a selection of Star Wars-inspired collectibles from Sideshow and Hot Toys, showcasing the Star Wars universe after the fall of the Empire.  The film was highly anticipated and opened to a ton of fun and fanfare.  Take a look!

The TCL Chinese Theatre payed homage to the late Carrie Fisher by unveiling a new commemorative plaque in her honor, and Sideshow LIVE host Susan presented a rare Princess Leia statue from the Sideshow archives to Carrie’s brother Todd Fisher, and talked about the company’s love of the franchise, the characters, and Carrie in particular.

Director Rian Johnson even surprised fans at the screening, giving away Sideshow prizes to lucky fans.  He also talked a bit about the film and said that he hoped the audience enjoyed the experience!

To roll out the release of The Last Jedi, a galaxy of incredible characters are being featured in the TCL Chinese Theatre exhibit, including the Rey and BB-8 Premium Format™ Figures.

The formidable First Order is being represented by the Kylo Ren Premium Format™ Figure, the First Order Stormtrooper Premium Format™ Figure, and the Captain Phasma Premium Format™ Figure.  Additionally, the Force of Darkness and A Galaxy Far, Far, Away Premium Art Prints have their own feature in the gallery as well.

An R2-D2 Life-Size Figure is also on display, and fans have an opportunity to enter to win one in the Life-Size Figure sweepstakes!

Hot Toys on display include the Kylo Ren Sixth Scale Figure, the Luke Skywalker Sixth Scale Figure, First Order Stormtroopers, the Rey and BB-8 Sixth Scale set, and more.

The exhibit runs from December 14th to the end of January, so if you have the opportunity to visit the historic TCL Chinese Theatre, be sure to stop by and take a walk through the gallery of a galaxy far, far away.  For more information, visit Sideshow.com/swexhibit.
