Sideshow Con 2023 Event Highlights
From July 18-21, Sideshow Con brought the excitement of a convention to fans around the world. Sideshow’s fully virtual convention experience included livestreams, first look reveals, special promos, contests, giveaways, and convention-exclusive collectibles.
Sideshow Con featured reveals, news, and exclusives from fan-favorite manufacturers such as Hot Toys, Sideshow, Infinity Studio X Penguin Toys, Iron Studios, Prime 1 Studio, Asmus Toys, Tweeterhead, Premium Collectibles Studio (PCS), EFX, Cryptozoic, Kotobukiya, and Threezero.

Day One
No squeezy! Fans of Star Wars™ were thrilled by a surprise reveal of Hot Toys’ new and highly detailed life-sized Anzellan™ Droidsmith.
Another jaw-dropping reveal was the Sandtrooper™ and Dewback™ Sixth Scale Figure Set. Inspired by Star Wars: A New Hope™, this immense set will make an incredible centerpiece to any Star Wars collection.
DC Comics fans got a look at the popular Batman™ Modern Suit Sixth Scale Figure, which marked Michael Keaton’s triumphant return as Batman in the recent film The Flash.

The highly anticipated Sideshow collaboration with contemporary artist Daniel Arsham was revealed. Fans were thrilled by the C-3PO™: Crystallized Relic Statue which reimagines the character as an archaeological monument from a long time ago in a galaxy far, far away…
Two more upcoming pieces from the collection, Han Solo™ in Carbonite™ and R2-D2™, were also teased.

Day Two
There was plenty of Quantumania with Ant-Man, The Wasp, Kang, and … MODOK! Hot Toys’ ultra-detailed and eerily accurate version of the “Mechanized Organism Designed Only for Killing” was a surprise addition to the show, and immediately became a fan-favorite!
A new Anakin Skywalker™ (with wool hair implantation) was revealed, featuring a movie-accurate and meticulously tailored costume, a hand-painted portrait, and realistic fabric hair.
A new life-size Grogu™ with Pram was revealed! This expertly crafted collectible captures every detail of the much-loved foundling’s appearance, and will make an adorable addition to any home — just don’t let him get too close to the Anzellan Droidsmith!

Day Three
Day Three of Sideshow Con was a good news day for Critical Role fans as Sideshow announced new additions to the Mighty Nein Statue Collection. Caleb Widogast, Caduceus Clay, Nott the Brave, Yasha Nydoorin, and Mollymauk Tealeaf are joining the lineup, alongside Fjord Stone, Beauregard “Beau” Lionett, and Jester Lavorre.

Those at SDCC this year will have seen the huge Alex Ross Villains display. Fans were thrilled to take photos with the wall-sized display which showed off this stunningly detailed piece.
Now fans can bring home this remarkable tribute to Marvel’s most wanted! Sideshow Con was proud to announce the limited-edition, exclusive Marvel: Villains Fine Art Lithograph by Alex Ross. Each Marvel: Villains Fine Art Lithograph is hand-signed by the artist and includes Sideshow’s Certificate of Authenticity.
Day Four
In a surprise reveal, Sideshow’s newest sixth scale figure draws inspiration from the cult classic The Lost Boys. This ultra-detailed figure captures the vampire biker gang leader David at his most menacing, and includes a wide selection of accessories to allow collectors to replicate key moments from the movie. Celebrated artist Mimi Yoon is known for her vibrant paintings combining sensual feminine portraits with nods to the fashion, brands, and icons of street culture. The limited-edition and mixed-media Hype Girl (Wonder Woman™) Designer Collectible Statue by Sideshow combines pop culture iconography with Yoon’s distinctive style in a stunning new collectible format. In a first-of-its-kind three-dimensional collaboration with the artist Nekro XIII, Sideshow presents the Gotham City’s Shadow: Batman™ Fine Art Statue. Expertly blending a stately Gothic aesthetic (including towering spires, ornate colonnades, and bat-like gargoyles) with Batman’s iconic silhouette to create a compelling sculpture that’s sure to be a must-have for DC Comics fans!
