How and when did you start collecting?

I think I’ve always been a collector but noticeably I started collecting Venom comics when I was about 23.  I suppose that the odd age to get into comic books but that’s when I discovered venom and I fell in love. But as a kid I always had Star Wars and GI Joe and Transformers

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars Collectibles, Batman, etc.?

I have a massive collection of light saber hilts and of Darth Maul figures and several other Star Wars characters. I also collect dragons, Venom of course and Court of the Dead, which is my absolute favorite property right now.  I have always been fascinated with the dark side of things and find beauty in what most find grotesque, and to find a group of characters that are anti heroes and reside in the Underworld, , but are the “stars” of the show, absolutely made my day.

What makes your collection unique?

I  have a good variety of my collection but I think the thing that makes it most unique is my Court of the Dead collection and the room that I dedicated theme wise to the Court of the Dead. I literally designed and built all the pedestals for the room with the CotD in mind. Art prints, layout, colors, all based on the CotD.  Can’t ignore my Symbiote collection over in symbiote central, I am very proud of it as well. But no where near as much thought and effort went into it. And my Lightsaber collection is no laughing matter, as I might have a world record number of those, so really I make my collection unique with my style of collecting lol.

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

Wow, that’s tough. My Anti-Venom probably is the #1 piece for me, but I have so many I absolutely love it’s hard to say that I have favorites. Oglavaeil is really what got me into the CotD along with Gallavarbe, so those two definitely pull on my heart strings. And my premium format Mechanical Legs Darth Maul was almost a unicorn type figure for me, so obviously that one is a favorite. But truly I love them all in their own unique way.  Kinda like asking a parent which is their favorite child.

What items are on your wish-list?

I have been blessed to be able to get just about every figure that I have ever truly desired and the ones that I still want I have on order through Sideshow. My only wish list would be certain characters from the Court of the Dead to be brought to life by Sideshow in premium format statues. Ellianastis is on the top of that list.
