How and when did you start collecting?

Both me and my fiance had our own collection of various figures and props before we met and when we moved in together then, like us, two became one (insert gagging noise here). He is a huge Star War fan and had lots of the original toys and figures from childhood. He tends to lean more towards the sci-fi genre more than fantasy, and I am a huge Star Trek fan although I do tend to lean more towards the fantasy genre than sci-fi although we both love both. We are both massive movie fans and have an extensive movie collection as well as being big gamers so our collectables vary hugely.

What do you collect? Does your collection have a theme, such as Star Wars, Batman, etc.?

Because me and my fiance have such a wide love of all things sci-fi and fantasy our combined collection is very eclectic. From Star Wars to Assassin’s Creed, from Aliens to Planet of the Apes and everything in-between our collection grows as our love of games and movies evolve (and when budget allows of course). I’m loving Wonder Woman at the moment and my fiance is replaying all of the Tomb Raider games so is loving Lara Croft. I’ve always loved She-Ra and Warren’s big loves is Conan, so they are all  big parts of our collection.

What makes your collection unique?

The diversity. We love collecting what we love, whether it’s through nostalgia or through sheer love of a particular charter new or old, no mater what it is. Because we both have such passion for movies and games we always encourage each other to buy collectables for each other for special occasions, birthday, Christmas etc. I’m not a huge fan of the Alien franchise, but Warren has quite a collection and I am happy for them to be on display as it’s what he loves and two of my figures have an entire cabinet to them selves.

What are your favorite or the most prized pieces in your collection?

For me it would have to be the Sideshow polystone figure of Wonder Woman that Warren bought for me a couple of birthdays ago, the Pop Culture Shock She-Ra figure last birthday and most recently the Hot Toys Wonder Woman Deluxe Version I got for Christmas. I also got full sized prop replicas of her sword and shield, but they won’t fit in the cabinet….. For Warren it would probably be his Alien collection, Star Wars figures (a few rare ones in there), the Hot Toys figure of Snake Plisken and Ripley and soon to be (she’s on order) Alita Battle Angel.

What items are on your wish-list?

Ooooooh to many to list and we would most definitely have to get a bigger house to house them all, but my dream would be the Prime 1 Studio Wonder Woman on Horseback. She is STUNNING! and huge….. Basically anything with Gal’s Wonder Woman the Infinity Studio or Prime 1 Studios busts…omg… the entire Hot Toys line for the Justice League figures, the Conan figure by Chronicle Collectables. I’ll stop there!
