Sideshow’s Birthday Extravaganza 2020!

Mark your calendars- This year is Sideshow’s 26th birthday, and we’re bringing the presents to YOU! From March 16th to March 20th, we’ll be celebrating with giveaways, discounts, promo codes, and more!

This blog will explain everything about the event, from our daily shows to our giveaways, so put on your party hats and get ready for Sideshow’s Birthday Extravaganza.

What is Sideshow’s Birthday Extravaganza?

Sideshow wouldn’t be the same without you. So, to celebrate 26 years of dedicated geek community, we’re going to give away some party favors! We have deals on incredible collectibles every single day so that you can get that figure you’ve been pining after, or start an entirely new collection.

Join us on our social media and our Let Your Geek Sideshow Official Facebook Group, sign up for the newsletter, read our blogs, listen to our podcasts, and more! The more you participate, the more opportunities for giveaways and reward codes you’ll have.

How Do I Participate?

To participate, join us on all of our social media platforms including Facebook,  Twitter,  Instagram,  Youtube, LinkedIn, Pinterest, and even in your email! We will be posting giveaways, hosting livestreams, launching all sorts of deals on collectibles, and sharing cool content all week long.

Some offers and activities will only last for a limited time, and many are platform-specific, so you need to be quick and you need to pay attention to everything you can! Be sure to enable notifications on your preferred social platforms so you never miss an update.

You’ll also want to be sure to join Sideshow’s official Let Your Geek Sideshow Facebook group, the Court of the Dead Facebook Group, Let Your Statue Sideshow, and the Unruly Industries™ Designer Toy Collective. Each of these groups has a lively collector community and will feature its own special content and giveaways that you don’t want to miss! Plus, it’s an engaging and positive space for sharing your fandom and chatting with other collectors in a moderated community forum.

Apart from social media, you can find a variety of awesome contests running throughout the week on our website, found on the Contest page. Don’t miss out on exciting site-exclusive contests, and check back for updates. Be sure to read the Terms and Conditions for all applicable giveaways.

How Do Reward Codes Work?

If you spot a reward code in the wild, don’t panic!  If you act fast, you can nab some sweet rewards points for your Sideshow account that can be used on future purchases. If you don’t already have a Sideshow account, this is the perfect time to sign up for one- you can’t save reward codes without one!

Go to side.show/birthday and you’ll find a designated space to input reward code words you might find during the week, which can be saved to your Sideshow account if the code hasn’t expired yet. These codes may appear on our social media, emails, during Live Shows, or anywhere we can think to hide them throughout the event.

Be sure to keep your Sideshow account login details ready- these codes will disappear quickly. The last thing you want is to be caught fumbling, wasting precious seconds as the time counts down on an awesome reward code.

Each code has a limited window of time in which you can claim it. If the code expires before you can save it to your account, better luck next time! Once a code is finished, it’s gone for good, so make sure you’re staying involved to collect as many rewards points as possible during the celebration.

Livestreams

We host daily shows at 5pm PST on YouTube and Facebook that will be jam-packed with birthday fun, plus maybe some reward codes!

In addition to new reveals, tons of giveaways, and crazy fun content, you can expect even more exciting Sideshow Live shows all week long! There will be product features, fun content, and more surprises that we can’t wait to share with you!

Feeling overwhelmed with info? Not sure where to start? Be sure to check out the Chatcave at 9:30am PST, exclusive to the Let Your Geek Sideshow Facebook group. Here, our hosts will help you keep your head on straight by catching you up on all the latest news and what to look forward to for that day’s Birthday Extravaganza celebrations. Be sure to RSVP to the in-group events for notification when the Chatcave goes live.

Be sure to also join us in the Chatcave at 4pm PST on Friday, March 20th for a special birthday party gameshow that will have 12 winners taking home prizes. That’s a lot of party in one place!

What Happens if I Win?

If you are selected as a winner for a contest, pay attention to the rules laid out by that particular social platform- rules will vary by contest. This may be Facebook, Twitter, your email, Gleam, Instagram, and more. Winners will be notified by the official Sideshow account in response to their winning post on the same platform of entry. You then have 48 hours from that initial message to claim your prize.

In order to correctly claim your prize, you must email [email protected] with your full shipping details, including your name, social media account handle, shipping address, phone number, and what prize you won (as decided by the contest post). In the email subject line, please include what contest you won, and the date you won. Pay attention to the specific contest post for any additional special rules that might be included in the contest.

Once you have sent this information, please be patient- we are processing a high volume of prizes for our Birthday Extravaganza, and fulfillment generally takes between 4-6 weeks. If you fail to respond within that 48 hours, you will forfeit your prize.

Each participant can only win one prize during the Sideshow’s Birthday Extravaganza week, regardless of platform. Even if you win, keep playing along for your chance to claim reward codes and take advantage of the savings in store!
