Star Wars™: Ahsoka Announcement on Disney+ By Andrew Ceco Star Wars™ has announced a brand new series called Ahsoka, a spinoff series following Anakin Skywalker‘s previous Jedi Padawan, Ahsoka Tano™. The series will take place within the same timeline as The Mandalorian™ series, picking up with Ahsoka’s mysterious story. We first met Ahsoka in the animated series Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Her story continued in Star Wars: Rebels. Dave Filoni had a major role in her creation in The Clone Wars and her continued story, as he also directed the episode of The Mandalorian called The Jedi. The Ahsoka series will continue from there. Chapter 13 of The Mandalorian, The Jedi, brings us to the forest planet of Corvus. Through the fog and shadows, Ahsoka Tano, confronts Imperial Magistrate Morgan Elsbeth. She is looking for Grand Admiral Thrawn, the main villain of Star Wars: Rebels, and she will not stop until she has his location. It takes a grand fight, and an elaborate deal with The Mandalorian, but she gets what she’s after.
