The Clock Runs Out on NBC’s Timeless, The Terror Returns for a Second Season, and More!

Netflix has released a trailer for its upcoming original film How It Ends. The apocalyptic thriller stars Theo James as a man who must make his way across the country to return home and save his pregnant wife during a cataclysmic event. How It Ends also stars Kat Graham, Mark O’Brien, and Grace Dove, and begins streaming on Netflix on July 13th.

NBC has decided not to renew its sci-fi drama Timeless for a third season. The show was originally cancelled ahead of its second season, but passionate fans rallied and the network renewed the drama. This time, it seems the clock has run out on Timeless, but creator Eric Kripke has stated there might be a chance for a series finale movie to be produced.

AMC has ordered a 10-episode second season for its horror anthology series The Terror. Season 2 will be led by a new creative team, Alexander Woo and Max Borenstein, and will be set during World War II as a specter menaces a Japanese-American community in Southern California. The Terror will return with new episodes in 2019.

Netflix has released a new teaser and the release date for Season 2 of its original crime thriller Ozark. The show stars Jason Bateman as an accountant who must relocate his family to the Ozarks after a money laundering scheme goes wrong. Ozark Season 2 begins streaming on Netflix on August 31st.
