From the multiple wires dangling to the unfinished arms and details in the torso….this is just a sight to behold and I could not pass on it. Wouldn’t exactly call it a figure but what it does well is it’s a beautiful detailed diorama set piece which pays tribute to where it all began and just in time to fill my Iron Man void. Once lit I was totally content with my purchase as it’s just brings it all up a notch which btw you can also wire directly without all those horrible batteries. I’m pairing this with Mech Test Tony for a workshop dio so I can revisit anytime I want where it all began with IMO the single best Marvel Movie Hero character ever! IRON MAN
This is the absolutely best Iron Man diorama ever! Even though it’s not the full suit of the Mark III it still looks stunning, especially with all of the intricacies of the wires and the different ways you can display it. This will pair nicely with that reissue of Tony Stark Mech Test, where he’s creating the Mark II in the film. I also love the LED lights on the suit and the display, they’re very bright and looks absolutely stunning when lit up. This is how Hot Toys should do their future Iron Man suits using triple AAA batteries at the base instead of those annoying tiny button cell batteries that you have to fit into different parts of the suit. This is an reissue of the Mark III construction version and I’m glad it’s in my Hot Toys collection since I missed out on the original release, but it was also highly popular with fans because of the diorama effect that it adds to your Iron Man display. I would highly recommend that you get it because it just adds more of a dynamic depth to your Iron Man display.
