Aliens: Fireteam – New Alien Game Announced!

Disney, 20th Century Games, and Cold Iron Studios announced a new game that takes place in the Alien franchise. This isn’t the first Alien game that’s been released! The series has also spawned Alien: Isolation, tabletop RPG’s, and much more. But this game breaks the mold in a brand new way.

Aliens: Fireteam serves as a direct sequel to the original trilogy. It takes place 23 years after aboard the USS Endeavor. You’ve got one job: respond to a distress call from the outer colonies. But it won’t be easy.

There’s no way to be truly prepared for the amount of Xenomorphs out to get the players. This game will have over 20 unique enemy types, including 11 different Xenomorphs along the evolutionary scale from Facehuggers to Praetorians. You’ll have to be clever and cooperate with your team well if you intend to send that message.

You play as a Colonial Marine alongside 2 other hardened marines (either friends or AI) and make your way through the spaceship. You’ll have five class options: Gunner, Demolisher, Technician, Doc, and Recon. Each one is important, and each one will help you “Survive the Hive.”

Aliens: Fireteam is set to premiere in Summer 2021.
