First Look: Iron Man Mark 46 Collectible Figure by Threezero

Just ahead of the figure’s worldwide release, Sideshow’s newest UNBOXING VIDEO gives fans an up-close look at Threezero’s latest figure: the Iron Man Mark 46 DLX Collectible Figure, inspired by one of Tony Stark’s advanced armored suits.

Take a closer look at everything from the figure packaging to the range of articulation and variety of accessories included in this highly anticipated release with the unboxing video below.

Unboxing the Figure

The Iron Man Mark 46 DLX Collectible Figure features an authentic likeness to Tony Stark’s sleek armor as seen in Captain America: Civil War. This fully-articulated collectible figure stands at 6.9” tall. It is constructed using Threezero’s renowned DLX diecast system with over 48 points of articulation. With Threezero’s specialized engineering, the DLX Iron Man Mark 46 figure can also easily recreate various action poses, including the character’s signature landing pose.

Arm rockets can be fixed onto both forearms. Additionally, two light-up functions are located on the figure in both the chest and the eyes. The four air flaps on the back can be flipped open or closed, and effects parts are included for both shooting poses and flying repulsion.

Iron Man Mark 46

The Mark XLVI, or Mark 46, is significantly upgraded and updated in comparison to its predecessors. The color palette distinctively features more red than gold, and implements splashes of silver. There’s also a markably different shape to the chest area protecting Tony’s arc reactor. Finally, a force field component for close range combat and a new weapons storage unit make this suit even more formidable in combat. However, the Mark 46 is still constructed from the same gold-titanium alloy as the other armors.

In Captain America: Civil War, Tony Stark uses the Mark 46 when he battles Captain America. It sustains minor damage due to Wanda’s attacks. Later, Bucky Barnes almost completely destroyed the Mark 46 in their one-on-one bout. Although Tony discontinued the Mark 46 following that encounter, it’s likely he repaired and displayed it in his Hall of Armor. Can you blame him?
