First Look: Sideshow’s Leatherface (Killing Mask) 1:6 Figure

Just ahead of the worldwide release, Sideshow’s newest UNBOXING VIDEO gives fans an up-close look at their latest horror collectible figure: the Leatherface (Killing Mask) Sixth Scale Figure, inspired by the killer’s most iconic appearance in the film The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (1974).

Take a closer look at everything from the figure packaging to the range of articulation and variety of accessories included in this highly anticipated release with the unboxing video below.

Unboxing the Figure

The Leatherface (Killing Mask) Sixth Scale Figure features a tailored fabric costume consisting of a collared shirt, black pants, a patterned necktie, and a bloodied yellow butcher’s apron in addition to his sculpted black boots. A padded undersuit fills out the killer cannibal’s intimidating silhouette. Leatherface’s namesake portrait is unsettlingly detailed with sallow coloration on the false skin, wild hair atop the head, and disturbing stitched elements all sculpted to capture his haunting appearance.

The figure also includes several accessories and alternate sets of hands for switching up the slaughter in your collection. Bubba Sawyer comes with his signature chainsaw and a mallet, ideal for chasing intruders off the family property, and four pairs of left and right hands — fists, neutral hands, grip hands, and gesture hands — for interacting with his tools of the trade. A charm bracelet accent for the figure’s wrist completes his frightening look.

Leatherface, The Texas Chainsaw Massacre

A somewhat misunderstood icon of the slasher subgenre, Leatherface (also known as Bubba Sawyer), is a silent killer who lets his chainsaw do the talking for him. He lives with his cannibalistic family of slaughterhouse workers, protecting their Texas homestead from a group of young adults taking a road trip. As the name implies, he is known for wearing the skins of his past victims to cover his own face.

When Sally Hardesty and her friends arrive in search of fuel for their van, Leatherface systematically kills them one by one, using all manner of butcher’s equipment to do the job — including a sledgehammer and the infamous meat hook. While he is known for changing outfits to match the occasion (like family dinner or doing the dirty work), this killer’s most famous appearance is his bloodied yellow butcher’s smock and the “Killing Mask” skin.
