Kids may love Elf on the Shelf, but in reality, it’s the parents having all the fun. And when those parents happen to be Star Wars fans, let’s just say it’s very tempting to give into Dark Side of this holiday tradition. Popping up all over Pinterest, are hilarious ideas for Star Wars characters interacting with the Christmas mascot.

On YouTube, this mesmerizing Star Wars themed choreographed light show boasts production value on par with JJ Abrams.

On Facebook Shingo Works used a combination of sixth scale figures from Sideshow, Hot Toys and Bandai with festive accessories to transform a snowy white Christmas village into a magical scene straight outta Hoth.

Happy holidays from Endor! Created as an homage to the original Star Wars Holiday Special and the classic Christmas Rankin/Bass animations, on YouTube this fan used vintage Star Wars Kenner figures in an amazing stop motion celebration. Yub Nub!
