NASA’s Kayla LaFrance Takes The Child Life-Size Figure to Mission Control
Recently, Sideshow had the opportunity to interview NASA team member, collector, and all-around geek Kayla LaFrance about her fandom, her career, and her collection.
Kayla works at NASA JSC Mission Control as an OSO (Operations Support Officer) and has incredible space-borne relics in her collection, but recently she acquired another alien asset from a galaxy far, far away- The Child Life-Size Figure.
Sideshow previously shared The Child’s adventures at the Space Center in Houston courtesy of Kayla, but the duo were on the move once more, visiting NASA Mission Control for even more interstellar viewing opportunities. Check it out!
There were even more incredible monitors, models, and images to be seen as The Child was given a tour of Mission Control. Kayla even took some humorous images arranged to display The Child’s own proclivities for touching technology and stealing ship parts.
You can see the full thread of photographs on Kayla’s official Twitter account:
Last week I went to work to support the crew during CDRA maintenance. It was also #takeTheChildToWorkDay, Baby Yoda spent a day at Mission Control. We’ll post the photo in this thread. (1/?)#TheMandalorian #sideshowcollectible@collectsideshow pic.twitter.com/tg5jub83go
