The Boys: Mexico Series in Development

According to Deadline, Amazon Prime Video is set to create a brand new series set in the world of The Boys. This wouldn’t be the first spin-off series. There’s been an animated series, called The Boys Presents: Diabolical, and a live-action spinoff series called Gen V, that follows superheroes in college. The new spinoff would be called The Boys: Mexico. The series comes from Blue Beetle writer Gareth Dunnet-Alcocer. Diego Luna and Gael García Bernal will executive produce and potentially take small roles within the project. There is no further news about The Boys: Mexico at this time.

Vanity Fair released the first images from Amazon’s upcoming live-action series adaptation of the popular video game Fallout. Not only that, but the article reveals some of the story elements. We’re set to follow Lucy, one of the Vault 33 Vault Dwellers. “When a crisis forces Lucy to venture above on a rescue mission, she finds that the planet above remains a hellscape crawling with giant insects, voracious mutant animal ‘abominations,’ and a human population of sunbaked miscreants who make the manners, morals, and hygiene of the gunslinging Old West look like Downton Abbey.” There is no further news about Fallout at this time.
Alien: Romulus Timeline Update

In an interview with Variety, Cailee Spaeny shared an update about the next Alien film, Alien: Romulus. She said, “It’s supposed to slot in between the first movie and the second movie. They brought the same team from Aliens, the James Cameron film. The same people who built those xenomorphs actually came on and built ours. So getting to see the original design with the original people who have been working on these films for 45-plus years and has been so much of their life has been really incredible.” Alien: Romulus is set to release in theaters on August 16, 2024.
Robert Egger’s Nosferatu Release Date

In 2015, Robert Eggers announced a remake of the classic horror film Nosferatu. Now, Focus Features has officially announced the release date for the film. The movie is described as a, “gothic tale of obsession between a haunted young woman and the terrifying vampire infatuated with her, causing untold horror in its wake.” Robert Eggers’ Nosferatu will fly into theaters on December 25, 2024.
