Ballerina Release Window

In an interview with Deadline, Lionsgate executive Joe Drake shared an update about Ballerina, the John Wick spinoff. He confirmed a release window for the project. Ana de Armas will lead the action flick when Ballerina premieres some time in the spring or summer of 2024.


Ghosts of Tsushima Update

In an interview with IGNJohn Wick director Chad Stahelski shared an update about his film adaptation of the popular video game Ghost of Tsushima. He said that his experience working on the John Wick films might help him include a feature from the game called “Kurosawa mode.” The feature is named after legendary movie director Akira Kurosawa, and stylizes the game to be black and white with film grain and distorted audio, just like the director’s iconic films. There is no release date for the Ghosts of Tsushima film at this time.


Ghostbusters: Afterlife Sequel Casting

According to Deadline, Kumail Nanjiani, Patton Oswalt, comedian James Acaster, and Emily Alyn Lind have all joined Sony’s Ghostbusters: Afterlife sequel. They’ve all been cast in undisclosed roles. There is no further news about Ghostbusters: Afterlife 2 at this time.


New Renfield Photos

Bloody Disgusting shared new photos from the upcoming horror comedy Renfield. The photos feature Nicholas Hoult, Nicolas Cage, Ben Schwartz, and Shohreh Aghdashloo. Renfield will fly into theaters on April 14.
