According to The Hollywood Reporter, Marvel has brought on another writer for their upcoming film Blade. Nic Pizzolatto, the creator of True Detective, will help write the project. There is no further news about Blade at this time.


Street Fighter Gets Directors

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Danny and Michael Philippou are in final talks to direct Legendary and Capcom’s upcoming Street Fighter film. The twin filmmaker duo is best known for their horror film Talk to Me. There is no further news about the new Street Fighter film at this time.


Bosch: Legacy Gets S3

Amazon Freevee has renewed Bosch: Legacy for a third season. This comes even before the premiere of the show’s second season. Season 2 of Bosch: Legacy, starring Titus Welliver (Lex Luthor in DC‘s Titans), will hit Amazon Freevee this fall.


Transformers One Animated Film

Paramount Animation, Hasbro, and eOne are collaborating on a new Transformers film. The animated project, Transformers One, has brought on a star-studded cast and crew. The film will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg and directed by Josh Cooley. The voice cast includes Chris Hemsworth (Marvel‘s Thor), Brian Tyree Henry (Godzilla vs. Kong), Scarlett Johansson (Marvel‘s Black Widow), Keegan-Michael Key (Toad in The Super Mario Bros. Movie), Jon Hamm, and Laurence Fishburne (The MatrixJohn Wick). “The film will tell the story of how a young Optimus Prime, played by Hemsworth, and Megatron, played by Henry, went from being brothers-in-arms to sworn enemies. Johansson will voice Elita, Key will voice Bumblebee, Hamm will voice Sentinel Prime, and Fishburne will play Alpha Trion.
